With fifteen restaurants and cafes, a historical hotel, thirteen retailers and eighteen resident businesses as well as a twice weekly Farmers Market, you can be sure to find something for everyone. The Farmers Market is a real gem, a true representation of our artisanal food community and rich culture, featuring a producer-only Farmers Market on Saturday followed by a Sunday market with a bigger emphasis on artisanal and culinary related items. All 45+ vendors are located within a 150-mile-radius, selling produce, meat, eggs, baked goods, locally produced cheeses, olive oils, and a diverse selection of prepared foods and treats.

The Alamo

The Alamo is a historic Spanish mission and fortress compound founded in the 18th century by Roman Catholic missionaries in what is now San Antonio, Texas, United States. It was the site of the Battle of the Alamo in 1836, a pivotal event of the Texas Revolution in which American folk heroes James Bowie and Davy Crockett died.[4] Today it is a museum in the Alamo Plaza Historic District and a part of the San Antonio Missions World Heritage Site.

Natural Bridge Caverns

Natural Bridge Caverns, the largest known cavern in Texas, was discovered on March 27, 1960, by four spelunkers who were students at St. Mary's University in San Antonio. The cavern is located off Farm Road 1863 in the hill country of Comal County midway between New Braunfels and San Antonio (at 29°41' N, 98°21' W). The name was derived from the sixty-foot natural limestone slab bridge that spanned the amphitheater setting of the cavern's entrance.
